I’m a HUGE fan of the duo Foreign Exchange.  After hearing about them over and over again while in college, I eventually picked up the album and am still listening on a weekly basis.  I’ve been eagerly anticipating the news of a new album though.  Finally, I have some fulfillment.

The new album, entitled “Authenticity,” is set to drop in October and will feature some of my favorite artists (YahZarah, Jesse Boykins III) as guest appearances.  The album’s first single is a track called “Maybe She’ll Dream Of You.”  Those wondering about the new album and potentially new musical sound will be happy to know that this will be just as musically enriching as anything they’ve given us before.

Authenticity is apparently the Foreign Exchange’s most musically diverse piece to date as it incorporates elements of their trademark electronic soul with some acoustic tracks recalling folk from the 1970s. – Prefix Mag

Welcome back, good sirs.  Thanks to Ace Dizzy for the heads up on the new project.  Check out a track off of their last album Leave It All Behind titled “House of Cards.”
